This route is rich with spectacular views of snow peaks. Experience the cultural influence of the Gurung tribe that has heavily settled in the region.

 

Ghorepani-Poonhill-Ghandruk TrekGhorepani Pooh Hill Trekking

A solid option for a short trek into the foothills to the north of Pokhara which includes scenic mountains and a fine slice of traditional village culture. The itinerary suits those who want to see and feel the area in a short time period.

 

Jomsom-Muktinath TrekJomsom Muktinath Trekking

Some major attractions along this route include typical Mustang villages such as Tukuche, Marpha and Jharkot with its medieval King's Palace and Bonpo Gompa. The deep gorge, Kaligandaki is another major landmark. Muktinath is a popular sacred place for Hindu, Buddhist Pilgrims and ascetic Sadhus. The temple contains 108 taps which transport water from sacred water springs.

 

Dhaulagiri Classic Trek: (Dhaulagiri Circuit) Dhaulagiri circuit Trekking

The Dhaulagiri trail follows the Myagdi Khola. Passing through the settlements of Darbang and Muri, the country is still quite heavily populated with scattered villages and farming land. Beyond Muri, the Myagdi Khola swings north and the landscape becomes much more rugged and sparsely populated. A key landmark along the trek is French pass (5360m). Your guide will take special care to monitor effects of elevation amongst group members, especially on the section between French pass and Dhampus pass (5250m).

 

Panchase TrekPanchase Trekking

A spectacular short trek with good mountain views. The trail includes some larger Gurung villages as well as rhododendron flower forest. Very few places in the world have such a splendid variety of natural beauty. A rare combination of snow-capped peaks, crystal clear lakes, and turbulent rivers with deep gorges, together with Tibetan monasteries, hot springs and picturesque villages are the significanct attractions of this trek, all inhabited by simple and friendly indigenous villagers.

 

Royal TrekRoyal Trekking

An easy trek that starts near Pokhara and offers beautiful mountain views complimented by a panorama of terraced green hills. Prince Charles from the United Kingdom trekked through this route, along with an entourage of 90 guests, camp followers and staff in 1980. Hence, the route since was regarded as the "Royal Trek". This trek is good for those people who have limited time and are interested in seeing Nepalese village life and local scenery.

 

Mardi Himal TrekMardi Himal Trekking

One of the rarely visited trails in Nepal. The itinerary is designed to provide some exceptional mountain views, to get away from the more popular "teahouse" trails and into the forests and villages that have not felt the impact of tourism. A trek to Mardi Himal (5588m) offers scenic mountain views of Mt. Annapurna (8091m), Mt. Fishtail (6997m) and Mt. Hiunchuli (6441m).

 

Sikles TrekSikless Trekking

Located to the north east of Pokhara, at about 2000m elevation, in the shadow of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. Through large and small Gurung villages, trekkers will see a well-preserved example of traditional Gurung culture, life-style and handicraft production. Local cloth weaving and the ancient water driven flourmills are additional attractions of these villages.

One of the most enchanting short treks for close-up views of some of the highest peaks in Nepal including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail- 6997m), Annapurna (8091 m.) and Dhaulagiri (8167m). The itinerary suits visitors with tight time constraints who also want to experience close proximity to "big time" alpine scenery.
