The Annapurna region of Nepal, a couple of hundred kilometres northwest of Kathmandu, is reknowned for its blend of undisturbed nature, spectacular mountain views, and embracing culture. The Annapurna Circuit is typically rated as one of the "top 20" trekking experiences worldwide...Now that is an understatement!

This route is rich with spectacular views of snow peaks. Experience the cultural influence of the Gurung tribe that has heavily settled in the region. This is not a difficult trek although it has some steep climbs. This itinerary avoids high altitudes or tricky flight connections. It is advisable to spend two weeks along this route to fully experience the full scenic and cultural spleandor.

Suggested Itinerary:

Day 01:

Arrival to Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel

 

Day 02:

Kathmandu to Pokhara (200 km/ 6-7 hours): Drive by bus/car or fly.

 

Day 03:

Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1577 m.): Drive for one hour, trek.

 

Day 04:

Tikedhunga to Ghorepani (2855 m.): Trek

 

Day 05:

Ghorepani to Tadapani: Trek.

 

Day 06:

Tadapani to Chhomrong: Trek.

 

Day 07:

Chomrong to Himalaya Hotel (2873 m.): Trek.

 

Day 08

Himalaya Hotel to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC): Trek.

 

Day 09:

MBC to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) & back to MBC or Deurali: Trek.

 

Day 10:

MBC/Deurali to Bamboo: Trek.

 

Day 11:

Bamboo to Chhomrong: Trek.

 

Day 12:

Chhomrong to Ghandruk: Trek.

 

Day 13:

Ghandruk to Tolkha: Trek.

 

Day 14:

Tolkha to Dhampus (1510 m.): Trek.

 

Day 15:

Dhampus to Pokhara: Trek, drive for ½ hour.

 

Day 16:

Pokhara to Kathmandu (200 km/ 6-7 hours): Drive by bus/car or fly.

 

Day 17

Rest at Kathmandu / Explore Kathmandu valley.

 

Day 18

Departure to your own destination or continuously Nepal trip.
